Using this site or commissioning a report means you accept what follows. It is short because the honest parts are already published: how every number is made, and where it falls short, live on the methodology page.

The free data on this site

Every figure is our own derivation from records of publicly played matches. It is provided for information, in good faith and with its stated limits published, but without warranty of any kind. It is not betting advice, not investment advice, and not a promise about any player's future. Decisions you take on it are yours. Latent is independent and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any league, club, federation or data provider named on this site.

Fair use of the database

You are welcome to read, link, quote and screenshot this site with attribution. You may not bulk-scrape, mirror or republish the database itself, or present our figures as your own product.

Commissioned reports

Reports are quoted on scope before any commitment and delivered on the stated turnaround. A delivered report remains Latent's intellectual property and is licensed to you for internal use: sharing inside your organisation and in the negotiation it was commissioned for is exactly what it is for; reselling it or republishing it whole is not. Every report states its own data limits, and a report is an assessment of evidence, never a guarantee of a transfer outcome.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Latent's total liability in connection with the free site is nil, and in connection with a commissioned report is capped at the fee paid for that report.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
